Appwrite is an open-source Backend-as-a-Service: authentication, databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL and others), storage, functions, messaging, realtime, website hosting (Sites) and firewall. SOC 2 Type II and BAA available. Often used as the backend for AI app builders such as lovable or dyad (integration claim unverified for Appwrite specifically).
