Plans are from secondary sources only

The vendor pages tempo.new and tempo.new/pricing returned only the tagline “The IDE for the whole team” when fetched on 2026-09-30, 10-01 and 10-02. The plans below come from third-party reviews (nocode.mba, March 2026; vibecompare.dev, updated 2026-09-22), which agree on Free, Pro and Agent+.

Tempo Labs (tempo.new)

AI-assisted visual editor and IDE for React/Next.js teams, from Tempo Labs (reported by CB Insights and review sites as Toronto-based and founded in 2023; secondary). It started as a React design tool with code integration to VS Code and GitHub (“prototype design and get code out easily”).

2026 positioning

The site now brands Tempo “The IDE for the whole team” / “One IDE for the whole team”: specs, designs and pull requests for PMs, designers and engineers on top of the real codebase. Per search-result descriptions of the site (not read on the vendor page): customer feedback, issues and requirements become reviewed pull requests; canvases are code in your repo, built from your real components and tokens, then tuned by hand and shipped as a PR; agents can be assigned tasks like teammates. Reviewers also describe a two-agent setup (a planning agent drafts a PRD and user-flow diagrams before a coding agent builds) and integrations with Stripe and Supabase, restricted to React/Next.js. Reviewers report agents getting stuck in loops and failing on auth setup.

Funding

A USD 5M seed round (October 2025), USD 7.5M raised in total (secondary: futurismtoday.com, vibecompare.dev, CB Insights listing).

Plans (secondary, early to Sept 2026)

  • Free: 30 prompts, max 5 per day; error fixes are free and do not count.
  • Pro: 150 prompts, full access to code and reasoning agents, bonus prompts can be bought.
  • Agent+: Tempo’s agents plus human engineers and designers build 1 to 3 features per week, 48 to 72 hour turnaround, quality-checked by humans (per third-party reviews, 2025 wording).

Not to be confused with Tempo (the Atlassian/Jira time-tracking vendor).

Limits

All plan, funding and feature details are attributed to third-party sources (vibecompare.dev 2026-09-22, nocode.mba March 2026, CB Insights); tempo.new returned only its tagline.
