MonoCode
Desktop GUI for coding agents: tabs are sessions, one composer is the input, and it runs whichever agent CLIs you have installed and logged in. It does not sell tokens.
- Maker: hardbeat920 (GitHub); site usemono.dev. No company note exists.
- Licence / cost: MIT, free; bring your own agent subscriptions.
- Platforms: macOS (arm64/Intel dmg), Windows (NSIS installer), Linux (deb, AppImage, rpm); Tauri/Rust app.
- Supported agents (README): Claude Code, Codex, Cursor CLI, Grok Build, OpenCode, Antigravity, Pi, omp, fx, Hermes Agent; also lists Gemini CLI and Copilot CLI and “many more”.
- Features: split panes, notes,
/operatorcommand letting an agent start and read other sessions (orchestration), experimental remote sessions on an always-on machine. - Maturity: README says “very early and you should expect bugs”. Repo created 2026-08-20, v0.7.1 on 2026-10-05, about 2.6k GitHub stars at check time (point-in-time).
- Versus similar tools: in the author’s view, a simple tabbed UI with a long agent list; compare Waku and Synara.
