Product changed: Stormy is no longer an influencer-marketing tool (checked 2026-10-01)

This note was written in 2025 when Stormy launched as an “AI Agent for Influencer Marketing”. As of 2026-10-01 stormy.ai presents Stormy as an AI assistant for job-based service businesses (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, construction, equipment repair/rental). The influencer plans (three credit-based tiers) are no longer on the vendor site; they survive only in third-party directory listings and are kept below as history, unverified.

Stormy today (2026): AI for service businesses

What it is. According to stormy.ai (home page, 2026-10-01), Stormy is an AI platform for “businesses that run on jobs”. It:

  • answers calls and texts 24/7, books jobs during the call and texts the time to customers;
  • dispatches and reassigns crews when schedules change;
  • handles back-office work: quotes, invoices, inventory tracking, reminders;
  • “Live Sessions”: learns a business’s processes by observing employees, then documents and repeats them;
  • builds custom “desks” (service desks, inventory tools) during onboarding.

Target industries (vendor site): construction and property management, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, forklift and heavy equipment, auto repair, cleaning and facilities, roofing and trades, logistics and yards. A separate landing page (stormy.ai/start) offers a free 15-minute, no-sign-up voice consultation for rental businesses (equipment, party rentals, trailers, storage) that maps workflows and suggests automations.

Pricing (2026). Usage-based (“charges based on the work it does: calls, texts, jobs, not per seat”); setup is a single 15-minute call; the AI consultation is free. No public price list was found.

Integrations named by the vendor: Gmail, Google Calendar, QuickBooks, Trello, custom phone systems.

Company. y-combinator profile (YC page checked 2026-10-02): batch Summer 2025, status Active, 5 people, San Francisco, primary partner Garry Tan; founders Robert Lukoszko (spelled “Lukoshko” on stormy.ai) and Alex Pokras. The vendor site states a USD 1.7M raise led by Kaya.vc with Y Combinator and SMOK Ventures. The YC page discloses no amount; an aggregator (startupintros.com) repeats USD 1.7M, so 1.7M is the working figure (an earlier USD 2.2M aggregator number is dropped). Case studies on the site: Eldorado Forklift Co., Elektro Silver.

What changed in 2026

  • Pivot from creator discovery/outreach (YC launch post: “AI Agent for Influencer Marketing”) to field-service operations. The YC company page itself now describes the service-business product, and the launch post is still online. Exact pivot date: unknown.
  • Old stormy.ai blog pages on influencer tools may still be indexed (one comparison article URL now returns HTTP 410 Gone), so older reviews describe a product that is no longer the main offer.
  • If you need an influencer-marketing agent, do not rely on this note’s historical plans; check stormy.ai directly or evaluate other tools.

Historical (2025): influencer-marketing agent, unverified

Directory listings (futuretools, aitop-tools, etc.) described the earlier product as: AI search for creators on YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, Substack, Spotify, podcasts, Twitch and Ghost from a natural-language description; automated outreach and negotiation; campaign management and analytics. Plans quoted there:

PlanNotes (as listed by directories)
Basic1,000 credits, up to ~200 influencers, basic search, email contacts, basic analytics
Starter3,000 credits, 1 AI agent, up to ~500 creators negotiated, 1 mailbox
Agent7,000 credits, 3 AI agents, up to ~1,500 creators, 3 mailboxes, white-label, account manager

Other listings quote conflicting plans; none is on the vendor site now.

Open items

  • No current public pricing for the service-business product (usage-based, quoted on a call).
  • Pivot date and rationale not stated by any primary source; whether the influencer product still runs elsewhere is unknown.
  • The 2025 influencer plans in the history table come from third-party listings only (explicitly labelled unverified above); one aggregator also lists the founder under a Summer 2024 batch, which conflicts with the YC page (Summer 2025).
