Cora
Cora is an AI email assistant made by Every that, per its product page, screens a Gmail inbox, drafts replies in the user’s voice and bundles non-urgent mail into twice-daily briefs. Its general manager is Kieran Klaassen. The product page is https://cora.computer (older links used cora.every.to).
How it works (cora.computer, 2026-10-05)
- Screening: important mail stays in the inbox; the rest is handled out of the way.
- Drafts: reply drafts in the user’s communication style; Cora cannot send or delete email without a user action.
- Briefs: twice-daily digests of non-urgent mail, about a 30-second read.
- Custom instructions for how specific mail types are handled.
Platforms and billing
- Gmail and Google Workspace only; Outlook and other providers not supported (as of 2026-10-05).
- Billing: subscription with a free trial; tiers named Professional (multiple accounts) and Unlimited (unlimited accounts), plus a bundle option with other Every products. See the pricing on cora.computer.
Privacy and security (vendor statements)
- Data is not used to train models; no backdoor access to read email; Google verified and CASA Tier 2 compliant.
Development
- Built using Compound Engineering; Every’s article (2025-12-11) states that Cora has thousands of daily users (vendor claim).
- The underlying model providers are not named on the product page; the earlier claim of “built on Anthropic’s Claude” is unverified.
Alternatives
Other email tools such as Superhuman, SaneBox and Boomerang exist (author’s list, not compared or sourced here).
