Two different communities, two different owners
“AI Automation Society” (skool.com/ai-automation-society) is owned by Nate Herk (see nate-herk), not Liam Ottley (confirmed on the Skool page 2026-10-02: owner Nate Herk, 465.3k members). Liam Ottley’s own Skool community is the AI Automation Agency Hub (skool.com/learn-ai). The earlier version of this note mixed the two up and carried unverified Dec 2025 revenue and subscriber figures; those were removed.
Liam Ottley & AI Automation Society
Liam Ottley
- Presents himself as founder of Morningside AI, an AI agency (founding year and client profile not verified here), and as creator of the “AI Automation Agency” (AAA) teaching model, in which students build an agency that delivers chatbots, content/voice systems and automations with a largely no-code stack, hiring specialists for technical work (the creator’s own description).
- YouTube: channel subscriber counts differ across trackers in 2026 (about 713K to 818K; one tracker reports 804K on 2026-06-13). The earlier “576K” figure is outdated. Exact current number: unverified (YouTube blocked by consent redirect).
- Teaching themes (per the community descriptions): niche selection, client acquisition, delivery systems, pricing, choosing between agency-owner and technical-specialist paths.
- Claims about personal income (e.g. “480,000+/month”) are the creator’s own marketing statements; they are not independently verified and are not repeated as facts.
Ottley’s community: AI Automation Agency Hub
- Skool: skool.com/learn-ai. A September 2026 independent review (aifunnelinsider.com) lists about 333,800+ members; the Skool page itself (2026-10-05) shows owner Liam Ottley (and the Morningside AI team) and 335.5k members, about 1k online, with no tier amounts shown; free tier (“60+ hours of training across 57 video lessons”) plus a paid “AAA Accelerator” (monthly subscription), weekly live Q&A. The reviewing site is an affiliate-style review site: treat its details as indicative. A second review site (communityhunter.com) has since closed.
AI Automation Society (Nate Herk) - for comparison
- Free tier: 465.3k members, about 1.8k online (Skool page, 2026-10-02); paid AIS+ monthly tier with about 3,500 members (Skool about page and review sites, 2026-10-02). Curriculum mentions the “AI partner model”, Claude Code training, portfolio building, weekly Q&A.
- Skool Games: won all four quarters of 2025 (community post); 2026 placings appear only on review sites and are unverified.
- Details: see nate-herk and skool-communities-ai-research.
Open items
- Current Ottley YouTube subscriber count and the exact paid-tier terms of the AAA Accelerator: only third-party trackers/review sites found; primary pages blocked or not fetched.
