Reusable prompt + outline format for going from ChatGPT research to a Gamma-generated deck, then into PowerPoint.

How to use this template

1. In ChatGPT
   • Paste your research/notes and ask ChatGPT to:
     “Turn this into a McKinsey-style slide outline using the structure and format below.”
   • Review and edit the outline until you are happy with the logic, titles, and bullets.
2. In Gamma
   • Create a new deck and paste:
     • The outline produced by ChatGPT.
     • The Gamma prompt at the end of this note.
   • Let Gamma generate the first-pass deck.
3. In PowerPoint
   • Export PPTX from Gamma.
   • Apply your firm slide master, fix spacing/typography.
   • Rebuild complex charts/tables with native PPT tools.

Paste your slide outline into Gamma, then add this instruction below it before generating:

You are helping a consulting team create a client-ready deck.  
  
Instructions:  
- Treat each `Slide X` block as **exactly one slide** in the deck.  
- Keep the **slide order and titles exactly as provided**. Do not add, remove, or reorder slides.  
- For each slide, use the `Title:` as the slide title. You may lightly improve wording but keep the underlying message the same.  
- Use the `Bullets:` as the core content. Rewrite bullets for clarity and brevity, but keep:  
  - Max 5 bullets per slide  
  - Each bullet as a short, punchy statement (not a paragraph)  
- If a `Note:` mentions a chart or table, reserve space and structure the slide appropriately (e.g., split layout: text + chart placeholder).
