The original note (Windows app running Claude 3.5 Sonnet with MCP) is outdated. Current Claude desktop app: macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel), Windows (x64 and arm64), Linux (beta, Ubuntu/Debian) and ChromeOS via Google Play. It includes Claude Code (preview running servers, review local changes, monitor PR status), Claude Cowork (hand tasks between phone and desktop), Desktop Extensions (local tools connecting Claude to files, browsers, native apps) and cross-device sync. All plans can use the app; Claude Code and Cowork need Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise. Enterprise deployment via MSIX (Windows) and PKG (Mac). Company: anthropic. Models are not pinned to Claude 3.5 Sonnet any more; see Claude Code for the current lineup.
