Clor
What it is
An “agent multiplexer for Claude and Codex with shared memory” from Clor, Inc. It runs the official Claude Code and Codex CLIs inside isolated Docker containers (“spaces”) on your own machines or on rented cloud runners, behind a web interface, coordinated by a hosted control plane.
Facts (vendor site, re-checked 2026-10-08)
- Agents: Claude Code and Codex only.
- Platforms: macOS desktop app; Linux and Windows via browser (desktop apps “coming soon”); needs Docker, OrbStack or WSL2 for local containers.
- Open source: the control plane is a hosted service. The GitHub org https://github.com/clorhq (created 2026-04-22) has three repos:
containers(“open container images for software development”, published to ghcr.io/clorhq),plugin(the Clor skills plugin for Claude Code, Codex and other agent CLIs) andcli(binary releases of theclorCLI only, no source). None of the three has a LICENSE file (checked 2026-10-08), so “open source” is the vendor’s wording, not a stated licence. - Billing model: a free tier that does not expire (control plane, memory, tunnels, secrets, Slack and email are listed as always free); other services (web search, static sites, Git hosting and similar) have a monthly free allowance and then usage-based charges on prepaid credits (Terms of Service, 2026-08-10). Model subscriptions/API usage are separate. See https://clor.com/pricing.
- Company: Clor, Inc., a Delaware corporation (site footer and Terms of Service dated 2026-08-10). About page names Jeff Gold (CEO, co-founder) and Jake Gold (CTO, co-founder).
- Features: per-space git checkouts, shared searchable transcripts and wiki across spaces, built-in services (secrets, tunnels, Slack, email, domains), code review view, mobile monitoring, CLI to turn GitHub issues or Linear tickets into parallel work.
Context
Community tier-list placement (opinion, not checked here): C tier, “too new”. Per the vendor it is coordinated by a hosted control plane (see above); how that compares with Tortie or Sidecar was not verified here. Compare Superset, Conductor.

Licence of the clorhq repos: none published. Tier-list placement is community opinion.
