Agent Orchestrator

Open-source (Apache-2.0) orchestrator for fleets of parallel coding agents: a project orchestrator agent spawns worker agents into isolated git worktrees, shown on a live Kanban board. CI failures and review comments are routed back to the worker session that owns the branch (the tier-list blurb “fixes CI itself, little user feedback” is community opinion; B tier).

  • Identity: originally ComposioHQ/agent-orchestrator; github.com/ComposioHQ/agent-orchestrator now returns a permanent (301) redirect to github.com/OrchestratorInc/agent-orchestrator (same repository id 1156994049, so the repo was transferred/renamed; GitHub API, checked 2026-10-07). Owner is the GitHub organisation OrchestratorInc (created 2026-07-28); site orchestrator.inc. Origin: Composio’s blog post of 2026-02-25 by Prateek Karnal (“The Self-Improving AI System That Built Itself”) says “Today we’re open-sourcing it” at ComposioHQ/agent-orchestrator, i.e. it began as a Composio project. The orchestrator.inc privacy policy (2026-09-24) calls it open-source software “published by the Untrivial-ai project”; no legal entity is named.
  • Licence: Apache-2.0 (GitHub API and README, 2026-10-07). About 12.9k stars on 2026-10-08; repo created 2026-02-13.
  • Platforms: desktop app for macOS (ARM/x64), Windows, Linux; mobile companion; Homebrew tap (per README fetched 2026-10-05; not re-checked).
  • Agents: repo description: “Any harness (Claude code, codex, +25 more)”; README says worker, chat and reviewer support differ per harness (see its capability catalog).
  • Maturity: latest stable release v0.13.4 (2026-10-07), plus frequent nightlies (v0.13.5 nightlies on 2026-10-07/08); pre-1.0.
  • Compare: Traycer, Agentastic, Maestri; similar tool Conductor.

  • Legal entity behind OrchestratorInc/Untrivial-ai and whether Composio still has a role after the move: not stated in the README, privacy policy or site.
  • Whether CI auto-fix is fully automatic (docs say failures are routed back to the agent; retry/escalation limits come from a secondary summary).
