Suno and Suno API access

by Suno

AI music generator (song with vocals from a text prompt). There is no public developer API. Suno’s CPO announced on 2026-07-01 that it is exploring a developer API with a curated partner group (intake form, no timeline or pricing; Music Business Worldwide, Digital Music News). Everything sold as a “Suno API” is unofficial.

Company context: suno.

About the “API”

Suno’s help pages and blog describe no public developer API (re-checked 2026-10-02); only the July 2026 partner-program exploration exists. Services like kie-dot-ai advertise Suno endpoints (V3.5 to V4.5 Plus in the old note); these are, per this note’s reading of Suno’s help pages, unofficial resellers: check terms, continuity and legality before building on them. The old claims (8-minute tracks, 20-30 s generation, watermark-free commercial output) are unverified and may be out of date for v5/v6.

Licensing

Commercial rights depend on Suno plan (Basic, Pro, Premier) and change with the label deals; read Suno’s current terms.

Open items

  • Old claims (8-minute tracks, 20-30 s generation, watermark-free output) removed from scope as unverified for v5/v6; check Suno’s plan page.
