Became a publicly traded company named Teradata Corporation (NYSE: TDC) on 2007-09-30 (10-K). Products: Teradata Vantage (the FY2018 10-K, filed 2019-02-26, already calls it the company’s “new analytics platform”), VantageCloud, ClearScape Analytics, and, per the 10-K FY2025, announcements during 2025 of an Enterprise Vector Store, Teradata AI Factory, ModelOps updates to ClearScape Analytics, an MCP Server, Teradata AgentBuilder and Autonomous Customer Intelligence. Legal and corporate events:

  • SAP litigation: the Ninth Circuit ruled for Teradata on 2024-12-19, overturning summary judgment on the antitrust and trade secret claims; SAP’s cert petition was denied 2025-10-06. On 2026-02-19 Teradata and SAP settled all litigation: SAP pays a gross USD 480 million (net benefit estimated USD 355 to 362 million before taxes) (10-K, Note 17).
  • 2026-02-11: cooperation agreement with Lynrock Lake; Melissa Fisher joined the board effective 2026-03-01 and Bernd Leukert effective 2026-08-01 (8-K filings; Leukert press release 2026-08-03).

  • Exact Vantage launch month (October 2018 per Wikipedia and a Solutions Review lead) not confirmed from a Teradata primary page: the earliest press release in the feed is March 2019; the FY2018 10-K only shows Vantage existed by early 2019. Founding place (Wikipedia: Brentwood, California) dropped, unverified.
  • Teradata did not report FY2026 results yet; Q2 2026 results (2026-08-04) not reviewed.
