Limits and pricing corrected 2026-09-30
The 2025 figures (5 concurrent / 60 daily tasks, “Jules 1.5”) are outdated. Current limits are below.
Google Jules
Asynchronous coding agent by Google that runs in a cloud VM: it clones your repo, installs dependencies, proposes a plan for approval, then modifies files and opens PRs. GitHub integration via OAuth; signs in at jules.google.com; reads AGENTS.md (see agents-md). Docs describe it as “experimental”. General availability came in 2025 (June 2025 per the original note, not re-verified).
Plans and limits (docs, 2026-09-30)
| Plan | Daily tasks | Concurrent |
|---|---|---|
| Jules (free) | 15 | 3 |
| Jules in Pro | 100 | 15 |
| Jules in Ultra | 300 | 60 |
Paid tiers are via Google AI plans (individual @gmail.com accounts only at the time of writing); all tiers use Gemini models (Pro and Ultra get higher access to the latest model, starting with Gemini 3 Pro per the docs); 18+ only; rolling 24-hour limit.
Jules Tools CLI and API
Install npm install -g @google/jules; jules login; jules remote list/new/pull to manage cloud sessions (--parallel supported); running jules alone opens a terminal UI. The Jules API for CI/CD and ChatOps integrations (from the early-October 2025 release per the earlier note) was not re-verified here. Features listed earlier (per-repo memory, precision file selector, PR-comment workflow) are unverified in this pass.
Limitations
Scoped tasks suit it best; manage secrets and environment variables carefully when granting agent access.
