What changed in 2026
- The earlier “docs and wikis” positioning in this note was outdated: chroniclehq.com (read 2026-10-01) now describes only an AI presentation platform (free-form canvas, brand guidelines, charts and widgets, export to PPT/PDF/web, real-time collaboration) and claims 5,000+ teams, including named customers such as OpenAI, Ramp, Apple, Stanford, Vercel, UC Berkeley, Notion, Figma, Meta, HubSpot, Atlassian and TikTok (vendor claim, re-read 2026-10-02).
- Public, token-based plans are now published (see below). Per Tracxn (secondary), the last funding round found is a $7.5M seed from Feb 2023 led by Accel and Square Peg; no 2026 funding news was found.

Design-led decks; the vendor positions it against cluttered slide tools. For McKinsey-style decks, the author’s suggestion is to use it to draft the narrative and then rebuild key slides in PowerPoint for brand and layout precision.
