Zoho’s self-service BI and analytics platform: connect data, prepare it, build dashboards, and ask questions with the Zia AI assistant (“Ask Zia”). Zoho describes it as an “agentic analytics platform” with 500+ live sources, 250+ data transforms and 50+ chart types, 16,000+ customers and 3 million users (Zoho site, 2026-10-05; vendor claims).

Maker and history

• Maker: Zoho Corporation. The product began as Zoho Reports, reportedly began as Zoho Reports (search summaries; launch date and the later rename to Zoho Analytics are not verified).
• Part of the Zoho suite; integration with apps such as Zoho CRM is vendor-described and not independently checked.

Products and editions

• Offered as cloud (online) and on-premise versions (separate help sections); white-label/embedded BI with an API guide for ISVs. A 15-day free trial without a credit card is advertised. Cloud plans (pricing page, 2026-10-05): Free Plan, Basic, Standard, Premium, Enterprise, plus Dedicated Compute; tiers scale by users and row capacity, and the page says the “Ask Zia AI Agent” unlocks at the Premium level. AI features as of summer 2026

• Ask Zia: natural-language querying; is described as agentic (exports data, schedules report delivery, shares dashboards, creates formulas) and as showing its thinking process (Putler review via search; Zoho Q2 2026 post); the year it became agentic is not verified.
• Zia Insights on dashboards (Q2 2026): analyses all reports in a dashboard, not only single reports (Zoho blog, Q2 2026).
• MCP: Zoho Analytics MCP Server is reachable through Zoho MCP, and a Claude connector lets Claude query workspaces under existing permissions (Zoho blog Q2 2026; status described as released, edition/on-premise availability not stated).
• Zia LLM (Zoho’s own models of 1.3B, 2.6B and 7B parameters; announced 2025-07-17): Zoho states customer data stays on Zoho servers and is not used to train models.
• Built-in agents for data engineering, visualisation and analysis are advertised on the product page; GA status per agent not verified.

Strengths and weaknesses vs peers

• Strength (opinion): broad connectors, low barrier, on-premise option, privacy stance with in-house models, integration with the Zoho suite.
