AI strategy (as of 2026-10-08)
SAP positions AI as embedded in business processes rather than a standalone model business: Joule as the assistant, Joule Agents acting across SAP apps, and BDC as the governed data platform with zero-copy sharing to Databricks, Google and Snowflake via BDC Connect (20-F). In 2025 SAP released hundreds of prebuilt SAP-managed data products for BDC (20-F). These are vendor claims from announcements; several 2026 features were announced, not GA.
